Highland Presybyterian Church

Fellowship Groups

A variety of groups meet for fellowship, service and learning within the Highland community. Some of these include:

Dinner for Eight Groups provide a unique fellowship opportunity at Highland which gives members a chance to get to know each other outside the church setting. Every six months each Dinner for Eight member is assigned to a new group of approximately eight people. The groups get together four times during the six month period. The goal is not fancy dining — just fellowship and fun!

The ABCers, parents of All Babies & Children, meet monthly for fellowship. The gatherings alternate between having the kids along and leaving the kids in the church nursery with volunteer care providers.

LMNOPers, families with elementary age kids, meet periodically for fellowship and conversation on parenting.  The gatherings provide lots of laughter and support.

Young Adults Highland is a group for members and guests ages 22–35. This group features Bible study, book studies, and plenty of fellowship. If you are interested in joining us, please contact Courtney Stevens, (336)724-6303. Watch the Highlights or the Young Adult facebook page for meeting details.

Highland Hightimers (Feisty Fifties, Seasoned Sixties, Spicy Seventies), meet four or five times a year for fun and fellowship.

The XYZers ('eXtra Years of Zest!'), friends ages 70 and up, gather monthly, September through May, for lunch and a stimulating speaker.
