Worship Services:
  • 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Sunday
  • 10:00 a.m. Sunday - One combined service during the summer, beginning on Memorial Day weekend and ending on Labor Day weekend; learn more here.

 

Church School:

  • 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. - Classes for all ages; click here for details. During the summer months, the Present Word Sunday School class meets from 9:00 - 9:45 a.m.

 

Child Care:

  • Infant (12 months and younger) and Toddler care (under three) is provided; click here for details.
  • Click here for opportunities for young children (2-5) during worship and church school.

 

Directions:

  • Highland is located on Cloverdale Avenue, near Wake Forest Baptist Hospital. Click here for directions.

 

Parking:

  • Street parking is available on Cloverdale Avenue and on Magnolia Street. Several spaces on Magnolia next to our elevator entrance are reserved for handicapped persons and those using wheelchairs. Additional handicapped spaces are located on Cloverdale Avenue.
  • General parking is available across the street from the Sanctuary, next to the Activity Building. Click here for Highland campus maps.

 

Special Worship Services:

  • The congregation traditionally gathers for worship on Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Thanksgiving, Christmas Ever and at other times throughout the year. See the News & Events page for weekly details.

 

Youth and Children's Ministries:

  • Active youth groups for Middle School and High School students meet regularly on Sunday eventings and for special events and outreach opportunities. See the Youth page for details.
  • School age youth of all ages enjoy choirs, handbells, summer vacation church school, summer musicals, and service opportunities. See the Elementary Aged Children page for more information.
