Highland Worship In-Person

April 6, Fifth Sunday in Lent, Youth Sunday

Dear Friends,

On this fifth Sunday in the season of Lent, our youth will lead us as we journey with the Israelites through the wildnerness. Grumbing in the desert, receiving God’s provision, and discovering the gift of sabbath- these ancrient strugles remail deeply relevant to our faith today. Our senior high youth have thoughtfully engaged with the story of Exodus and have used their gifts to craft this service of worship and preparing us to meet at the Lord’s table to share in communion.

There continue to be many ways to participate in the life of our church this season. Be sure to check out our annual Spring Clean Up Day this Saturday, April 5 (see below for more information, including links for signing up!) Our Lenten Book Discussion Groups are also underway, using the book Hard & Holy Work, which guides us through a study of the book of Exodus.

With gratitude and hope,

Peace–Courtney
