Boy Scouts of America Troop 722 of Highland Presbyterian Church was chartered in 1953. There have been 164 Eagle Awards since 1954.
The Boy Scout troop generally meets Mondays during the school year at 7:00 p.m. in the Activity Building. Any boy between the ages of 11 and 18 may join. We also have a Cub Scout program that meets weekly. Boys who are in the first grade may join. A pre-cub scout program called Tiger Cubs meets once a month.

Cub Scouts Returning to Highland – For Boys and Girls, 1st-5th Grade
Cub Scouts is all about encouraging kids to make friends, be helpful to others, and do their very best no matter the outcome. With the help of powerful learning projects and exciting outdoor activities, the aim of Scouts is to teach children that doing their best can be a fun and rewarding experience—no matter the difficulty of the challenge.
We are planning an informational gathering with Scout leaders and older Scouts to give potential Cubs a tasty of Scouting including hotdogs, demonstration on how to build a fire, and seeing the famous Pinewood Derby track in action!
If you are interested in learning more about Cub Scouts returning to Highland, please email Heather Ferguson.
Girl Scout Troop #02665 at Highland
Highland’s Girl Scout Troop builds girls of courage, confidence, and character through earning badges and engaging in service projects. Our troop is multi-level, including Daisies (grades K-1), Brownies, (grades 2-3), and Juniors (grades 4-5), and is open to all girls in our community. We meet on the first and third Sundays of the month from 3:30-5:00 PM. For more information, please contact Andrea Kurtz.
Troop 02665 is growing! We’re excited to add the Cadette level for girls in sixth through eighth grade, starting in September. If you know any girls in middle school who might be interested in joining Girl Scouts, please spread the word! We also have availability at the Daisy, Brownie, and Junior level for girls in kindergarten through fifth grade. In addition, we’re seeking adult volunteers to help us build girls of courage, confidence, and character. We warmly welcome our Highland family to volunteer with our troop and hope you’ll consider joining us for badges, service projects, camping trips, and cookies (of course!). Please contact Andrea Kurtz.
